Ronald L. Strenkoski

Ronald L. Strenkoski, age 80, husband of Frances J. (Wanat) Strenkoski of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at home. Born on April 11, 1944 in Phoenixville, he was a son of the late Stanley and Violet (Gencavage) Strenkoski. After his mother's passing when he was 3 years old, Mr. Strenkoski was raised by his father and uncle, Domnick Strenkoski. Mr. Strenkoski attended Sacred Heart School, and graduated from Phoenixville High School. He then went on to receive his electronics certification from Philadelphia Wireless Electronics. He worked in the electronics department at both Taylor Fiber Company in Betzwood, PA from 1965 until its closure, and then Synthane Taylor in Oaks until its closure in 1984. He then went on to NVF (National Volcanize Fiber) in Kennett Square as a Process Technical Engineer from 1984 until 1988. Mr. Strenkoski was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Phoenixville, where he was married on June 4, 1966, until it's closure. He then became a member and attended St. Basil the Great Catholic Church in Kimberton. Mr. Strenkoski honorably served in the United States Army 1966-1972. He was stationed at the 361st Medical Corps General Hospital in Philadelphia, and then at the Valley Forge Army Hospital during the Vietnam War to attend to soldiers coming from war. Mr. Strenkoski enjoyed fishing, golfing, and traveling to different islands and across the country with his wife. He cherished spending time with his family, and took pride at being present at every sporting event for his children and grandchildren, including BMX racing for both of his sons at the local and state levels. In addition to his wife of 58 years, Mr. Strenkoski is survived by two sons, Aaron, husband of Alicia Perez Strenkoski and their children: Alec Strenkoski, Connor Strenkoski, and Bryce Strenkoski, and Adam Strenkoski and his children: Jazmine Strenkoski and Gianni Jackson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., 610 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Rev. John Stokely. Burial will be held privately at a later date in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Phoenixville.
