Cecelia Joan Cusick

Cecelia Joan (Skala) Cusick, age 81, wife of the late Harry J. Cusick of Royersford, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026. Born on July 16, 1945, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Cecelia Regina (Coyne) and James D. Skala. Cecelia was the most incredible woman who ever graced this world. She was not just any woman; she was the heart and soul of every gathering, the life of every party. Her laughter was infectious, and her presence could light up the darkest room. She had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel special and was always there for everyone, never once hesitating to lend a hand or an ear. To say she was an amazing sister, aunt, mother, mom-mom, mother-in-law, godmother, and friend doesn't even begin to do her justice. She touched the lives of so many with her overflowing kindness, unwavering support, and boundless love. Her ability to connect with people from all walks of life was a testament to her incredibly open heart and deep empathy. Her faith was unshakable, serving as a guiding light not only in her life but in the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. A true God-loving person, she inspired everyone around her through her actions, embodying grace, humility, and strength. Her spirituality was a source of comfort and strength for so many, and it was evident in the way she lived her life-with integrity, compassion, and an enduring sense of hope. The world feels undeniably emptier without her light, a void that can never truly be filled. Yet, solace can be found in knowing that her spirit and love will live on forever in those who knew her, guiding them even in her physical absence. She will be missed more than words can say, Her legacy will be honored by embodying the love and kindness that she shared so generously. Rest in peace, sweet angel. Cecelia is survived by her son: Harry (Theresa) Cusick; grandchildren: Rachael (Thor), Claire, and Dominic Cusick; brothers: James (Lorraine) Skala, Daniel (Mary Lou) Skala, and Greg (Mary) Skala; many nieces, nephews, God-children and all her friends she called family. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Cecelia Rita (the late Wayne) Harris. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial mass on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 11:00 am, at Sacred Heart Church, Lewis Road and Walnut Street, Royersford. Officiating will be the Rev. Tadeusz Gorka. Inurnment will follow in the St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville. Friends will be received from 9:00 - 10:30 am, at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford.
