Obituary

Christian J. Flynn, age 27, husband of Megan E. (Steward) Flynn of Limerick Township, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025. Born on July 18, 1997 in Norristown, PA, he was a son of Michele M. (March) and Richard A. Flynn.

Christian was a 2015 graduate of Spring-Ford High School, and his career in law enforcement began during the summer as a seasonal police officer for the Sea Isle City Police Department. He graduated from the Montgomery County Police Academy in 2021 and went on to work for the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. Most recently, Christian was a police officer in Upper Providence Township, where he was a Field Training Officer, certified in accident reconstruction, a member of the Montgomery County Emergency Response Team, and was a bike officer. He was a member of the Montgomery County FOP Lodge #14.

Christian was also a volunteer firefighter since 2013 with the Linfield Fire Company and Limerick Fire Department. He held many certifications in the fire service and also served as an Engineer within the department. He was recognized as Firefighter of the Year in 2021 for the Limerick Fire Department. He also had been a volunteer firefighter with the Ridge Fire Company in Spring City, PA and the Fairmount Fire Company #2 in Norristown, PA. Christian enjoyed traveling to the shore, kayaking, attending country music concerts, and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife and parents, Christian is survived by one sister, Morgan Flynn; his paternal grandmother, Judith, wife of the late Lawrence Major; many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and extended family; and his beloved four-legged companions, Gibbs and Duke. He was preceded in death by grandparents, John, husband of Clare Flynn, Mary Ann, wife of William Zeleski, and William March.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass at St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church, 256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473 on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 12:30 PM. Officiating will be Rev. Paul C. Brandt.

A visitation with family will take place on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 in the Church from 4:00 PM- 8:00 PM, and again on Thursday from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM prior to mass. Burial will be held privately.
