Elizabeth Anne Dathe

Elizabeth Anne (Jennings) Dathe, wife of Eric A. Dathe, of Phoenixville, PA passed away early Saturday morning, April 26, 2014 peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. Born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Peter and Jane Frances (McCreavy) Jennings. She was a graduate of East Carolina University in 1985. Lizanne worked for 17 years as a Corporate Editor and Copywriter in the Marketing Department at ifm in Exton, PA. She was a member of the St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church in Phoenixville. Lizanne was a proud member of the Chi Omega sorority and was acting president in her senior year at college. Also an active member of the Phoenixville YMCA she loved to work out but her special group, “the docksides”, were Lizanne’s cherished friend’s she walked through life with for many years. Faith, Family, Friends and Hope is what Lizanne lived by and spending time with her daughter, husband and family by the beach is where her most beautiful days were spent. In addition to her husband of 24 years, Mrs. Dathe is survived by one daughter: Sarah E. Dathe, of Phoenixville, PA; eight brothers: Joseph, husband of Shelley; William, husband of Jane; Christopher, husband of Elizabeth; Martin, husband of Terri; Anthony, husband of Lisa; Matthew, husband of Kristen; Daniel, husband of Michelle; Alexander, husband of Elizabeth. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Mass at the St. Ann Chapel, 604 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Saturday morning, May 3, 2014 at 11am. Officiating will be the Rev. John J. Newns. Burial will be immediately following the service in the St. Ann Cemetery. Friends will be received from 6:30 - 8:30pm Friday evening at the Campbell–Ennis–Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA and from 10-10:45am Saturday morning in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to help with furthering Sarah’s education by making donations to "Black Rock College Advantage 529 plan" and mailing them to the Dathe family home address, 1215 South Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
