Lewis H. Hain, 76, husband of Jeanne F. (Nichols) Hain, of Oaks, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 20, 2017 surrounded by his family. Born on March 13, 1940 in Tamaqua, PA, he was the son of the late Lewis C. Hain and the late Helen (Zimmerman) Landis.
Lewis was a 1957 graduate of Spring-Ford High School. He had been employed as a dental technician by the former Eaton Dental Lab, in Bryn Mawr and then PandN, in Telford. He was then employed at Valley Forge Baptist for 10 years, where he had also been an active church member.
An outdoorsman, he loved fishing, hunting, landscaping, biking, swimming, tennis, traveling and camping. Lewis also enjoyed attending Church events.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Hain is survived by his daughter: Victoria L., wife of Kenneth L. Young, of Montrose, PA; son: Mark L. Hain, of Studio City, CA; two granddaughters, Karissa Joy Boger, of Budapest, Hungary and Kaitlyn Faith Lodge, of Montrose, PA; and great-grandson: Carter Ryan Lodge. He was preceded in death by his sister: Sandra Copenhaver.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at Valley Forge Baptist, 616 Trappe Road, Collegeville, on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Scott E. Wendal. Interment will follow in the Green Tree Cemetery, Oaks. Friends will be received from 9:00 am - 10:45 am Saturday at the Church.
