Lizette (Landis) Godshall, 70, of Graterford, died on Sunday, March 30, 2014. She was born in Germany, the daughter of Gertrude Schumacher and Helmut Graff. She came to America as a young girl with her mother, and was adopted by her stepfather, Leroy Landis. Lizette was the beloved wife of H. Lynn Godshall, with whom she shared almost 50 years of marriage. She is also survived by a son, Brian (Audrey) Godshall of Oxford; a sister, Rhoda Van Leer, of Key West, FL; her sister- and brother-in-law Martha and Dick Fenoglio of West Chester; and nephews Mark Fenoglio, Blake Van Leer and Phillip Van Leer. She was preceded in death by a niece, Judith Fenoglio Daw.

Lizette was a friend to all small creatures, particularly her clan of rescued cats. She especially delighted in playing with her Morkie granddoggy, Pablo. She enjoyed gardening, jewelry making, reading and HGTV. She made the best cherry pies in the family.

Lizette will be sorely missed for her sunny disposition and her kind and gentle nature. She was a shining star that brightened everything around her.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA. Friends may call from 10:00-11:00 AM.
