Paul J. Oren, husband of Kim I. (Finlayson) Oren, of Elverson, PA, died Saturday, September 19, 2015 in his home. Born on January 30, 1957 in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late John and Estelle "Sally" (Campbell) Oren. He attended high school in Bangor, PA. He received his Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science from Pennsylvania State University and his Master's of Business Administration from St. Joseph's University. Paul worked as a computer consultant for Infor until his illness prevented it. He was passionate about music as a fan and supporter of WXPN and The Philadelphia Folk Festival where he volunteered and attended for years, and he loved all outdoor activities including hiking, cycling, and camping. He was a marathon runner completing eight full marathons.
In addition to his wife of fourteen years, Paul is survived by two daughters, Samantha D. (Michael) Weber of Spring City, PA, Alexandra L. Oren of Denver, CO; Son, Julian D. Oren of Elverson, PA; Granddaughter, Zoey J. Weber; Grandson, Milo C. Weber; and sister Barbara E. Oren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, 610 South Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 10:30 am. Officiating will be Rev. Caleb D. Harms. Burial will be held privately in the St. Peters United Church of Christ Cemetery in Knauertown, PA. Friends will be received from 9:00 am - 10:30 am Saturday, October 3, 2015 at the funeral home.
