Robert A. "Bob" Martz, 52, husband of Rebecca F. (Hultz) Martz, of Pottstown, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2019. He was born on June 13, 1966 in Pottstown.

Bob enjoyed woodworking, metal polishing and working in his yard. He loved a challenge, aspired to excel and took great pride in his accomplishments. He built cabinets, installed kitchens and renovated three homes.

Bob had a good sense of humor, enjoyed joking with others, was always willing to help others and was the primary force behind the creation of the Pottstown numbered streets town watch group.

He was also very fond of dogs and loved his dogs, Molly and Tera, very dearly.

In addition to his loving wife of 22 1/2 years, Bob is survived by his mother: Shirley (Missimer) Martz, of Pottstown; siblings: Richard A., husband of Diane Martz, of Bechtelsville, Raymond A., husband of Donna Martz, of Amity and Shirl A., wife of Jay Harp, of Pottstown; niece and nephews: Jay Harp, Jr., Jaime Acevedo, Zachary Martz, Eric Martz, Jake Hultz, Dan Hultz and Nic Hultz; and great-niece and great-nephew: Jameson and Arya Harp. He was preceded in death by a nephew: Jared Martz.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
