R. LaRue Knod, age 87, wife of the late George A. Knod, of Royersford, PA, died Friday, December 18 2015 in Parkhouse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Upper Providence Township, PA. Born on September 3, 1928 in Phoenixville, PA, she was the daughter of Happ and Elizabeth (Quigley) Toepel. She was a graduate of Royersford High School. She was a member of Red Hat Society and the Homemakers Club.

Mrs. Knod is survived by two daughters, Pamela A. Mertz of Royersford, PA, Nancy B., wife of Greg Walton of CA; Son, George A. Knod, Jr. of Philadelphia, PA; two siblings, Richard Toepel, Emma Capoferri; three grandchildren, Kara Allen, Alyssa Walton, Sara Walton; two great-grandchildren, Dante and Maya Allen; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Burial will be held in the Fernwood Cemetery, Royersford, PA. Friends will be received from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
