Sergio Capone

Sergio Capone, 46, of Gilbertsville, and the loving husband of Kim (Martorano) Capone, passed away after a valiant week long fight as a result of injuries from an accident, on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at the Reading Hospital. Born on August 21, 1972 in Norristown PA, he was the son of Domenico & the late Marisa (Fiore) Capone. Sergio was a talented mechanic and worked many years as a Master Technician for Toyota. He also devoted much of his time to the Boy Scouts of America as a leader of pack #367 in Gilbertsville. In his spare time he loved to watch NASCAR races whenever he had the opportunity to, and enjoyed listening to “classic" country music, not today’s “pop” country music. But the passion of Sergio’s life and what he will be remembered most for, is the love he had for his “tribe" of people. Once you were in the “tribe” you knew it and you were in it forever. Sergio was a loyal friend who always made you feel like his family. However the group of 3, Kim, Taylor, and Domenic were the axis that his life revolved around. Whether it was leading the Boy Scouts with Domenic, or being Taylor’s biggest cheerleader at her dance competitions, or completing one of Kim’s countless wood working projects, Sergio found endless joy spending time with them. They were the apples of his eye and no need of theirs ever went unanswered. His love of them, will continue to be a source of comfort to them and to all those who were blessed to have known Sergio. In addition to his loving wife Kim, Sergio is survived by his two loving children, Taylor Laine Capone, and Domenico Angelo Capone II; three siblings, Salvatore Capone, husband of Melissa, Anna Capone, and Anita Weil, wife of Robert; Sergio is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing for Sergio on Friday, November 23, 2018. From 1:00PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Cattermole‑Klotzbach Funeral Home 600 Washington St. Royersford, PA 19468. The funeral ceremony for Sergio will take place on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the new Hanover Lutheran Church, 2941 Lutheran Rd., Gilberstville PA. 19525 at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place following the service in the Church Cemetery.
