Suzanne R. Wagenmann

Suzanne Rita (Uckele) Wagenmann, age 68, wife of Ronald G. Wagenmann, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at home. Born on July 10, 1947 in Harrisburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late Charles J. Sr. and Margaret E. (Willard) Uckele. Mrs. Wagenmann was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School, and was a member of St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, Kimberton. She had worked as an administrative assistant for Glaxo Smith Kline. In her youth, she was an avid dancer and later took up cooking and painting ceramics. She currently enjoyed reading, going to the movies, traveling the world (especially to Hawaii) and most of all, spending time with her family, especially her daughters and grandchildren. She always looked forward to taking family vacations throughout her life to the South Jersey beaches, Cape Cod and Rehoboth Beach. In addition to her husband of 46 years, Mrs. Wagenmann is survived by two daughters, Shelby Leigh Bird, wife of Steven of Royersford, PA and Susan Lynn Brophy, wife of John of Phoenixville, PA; three siblings, Janet Vajda, wife of James, Diane Pontius, wife of Paul and Charles J. Jr., husband of Jo; five grandchildren, Samantha and Jake Bird, and Matthew, Paige, and Grace Brophy; two great-aunts; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wagenmann was preceded in death by two siblings. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass at St. Basil the Great R.C. Church, 2300 Kimberton Road, Kimberton, PA on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Gary T. Pacitti. Burial will be held in the St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 10:45 am Wednesday at the church.
