William R. "Bill" Landis, age 62, of Royersford, PA, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania following a brief illness. Born on June 25, 1958 in Pottstown, PA, he was a son of the late J. Roy and Ruth (Schad) Landis.

Bill was a graduate of Spring-Ford High School, and went on to receive his Bachelor's degree from Penn State University. In the 1980's, he enjoyed working as a disc jockey in State College, PA. He would then go on to work for the County of Montgomery in security and maintenance departments, and most recently worked in the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. An avid fan of Philadelphia and Penn State sports, Bill could often times be found at the park playing basketball, or enjoying the company of his buddies at Friendly's.

Bill is survived by his brother, Ronald S., husband of Sandra Landis of Chicago, IL; and two nephews, Alexander and Michael.
