Minto, of Pottstown, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021 in the Pottstown Hospital - Tower Health. Born on March 26, 1939 in Kingston, Jamaica, he was a son of the late Adolphus and Mary (Watson) Brown. Following graduation from high school, Mr. Brown worked for the British Information Services before migrating to the Untied States in 1966. Upon arrival to the states, he began his career in the audio/visual field for Columbia Pictures. Mr. Brown eventually took employment with LTBL, Inc. in Manhattan, and would go on to purchase the company. With an entrepreneurial spirit, and a new found love of cooking at a late age, he would also start several other businesses, including restaurants in the United States, a record store, and two clothing stores in Jamaica. Mr. Brown was an avid cricket player, and was a member of the White Plains Cricket Club in White Plains, NY. He loved playing soccer, and watching football. As a die hard domino player, he took the game quite seriously. Mr. Brown also loved spending time with his grandson Kysan's dog, Cooper. In addition to his wife, Mr. Brown is survived by nine children, Yvonne Wright of New York, Patrick Brown of Jamaica, Marleen, wife of Richard Morrison of New York, Carmen Brown of New York, Kadian Grant of New Jersey, Adrian Brown of Jamaica, Leroy "Sean", husband of Diana Harrow of Pennsylvania, Antoinette Baselice of Georgia, and Monique, wife of Mark Wildes of Ohio; many grandchildren, including Andrew Cameron, Chemise Cameon Kayla Pessin, Andre Grant, Shania Morrison, Randy Grant, Sherona Morrison, Patrick Brown, Kysan Harrow, Tasheem Brown, Tavon Brown, Tianna Brown, Jada Wildes, and Aubrey Baselice and many great-grandchildren in both the United States and Jamaica; three siblings, Errol Brown, Marlene Smith, and Gerald Brown. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by one son, Brian Brown, and six siblings, Neville Powell, Martin Brown, Cornelius Brown, Victor Brown, Anna Brown, and Norman Brown. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., 610 South Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. A limited number of people will be permitted into the building at one time, and mask and social distancing requirements will be followed. The funeral service will take place privately. Family and friends are invited to attend his committal service at the Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, 352 S. Gulph Road, King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Friday, January 15, 2021 at approximately 12:45 PM. Those arriving can wait in the parking area for the funeral procession to arrive.
