Deborah S. Dawson

Deborah S. (Byron) Dawson, age 69, wife of the late Robert J. Dawson, of East Coventry, formerly Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022 in her residence. Born on June 2, 1952 in Spokane, Washington, she was a daughter of the late Faye (Coomes) Hillock and the late Timothy Byron. Well known in the Phoenixville community, Debbie volunteered many years of service on the School Board of Phoenixville Area School District. Debbie always made herself available or provided help for a family member or friend in need. It didn't matter if it was the middle of the night; Debbie just said it was no trouble, and did so with a smile and a laugh. She had a love for dogs and cherished her many wonderful friends over the years. She enjoyed traveling, having driven across the country a few times, and she also loved vacationing in Walt Disney World with her family, who loved her dearly. Debbie especially valued spending time with her granddaughter, Abigail, who was the light of her life. Debbie, and her one-of-a-kind, light-hearted outlook on life, will be truly, forever missed by all of her family and friends. Debbie is survived by her son: David, husband of Jennifer Dawson, of East Coventry and granddaughter: Abigail Dawson. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made in Debbie's honor to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
