Dorothy L. Moorhouse July 7, 1918 - February 17, 2022 Dorothy L. Moorhouse, age 103, wife of the late Arthur J. "Artie" Winham, Jr., Dallas L. "Jack" Robey, and Marshal "Pud" Moorhouse, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at The Landing of Collegeville on Thursday, February 17, 2022. Born on July 7, 1918 in St. David's, PA, she was a daughter of the late Christopher L. and Dorothy (Buch) Peirson. She was a graduate of Radnor High School, class of 1936. Her greatest joy was her large family, and she always supported all of their endeavors. She delighted in family vacations to the Outer Banks, as well as all family get together's. She also thoroughly enjoyed time spent with friends, including swimming at Baker Park and playing Bridge at the Senior Center of Phoenixville. She is survived by her six children, Linda Pascarella, Arthur J. "Jerry" (Donna) Winham, April Winham, Paul B. Winham, David D. (Jane) Robey, and Michael S. (Cynthia) Robey; a daughter-in-law, Patricia C. Winham; two step-children, Marshal (Skip) Moorhouse and Jill Wagner. She was a loving grandmother, known affectionately as Gummy or "The Gumster, to Lisa A. Horne, Timothy W. Smoyer, Daniel P. Pascarella, Cristopher A. Winham, Jennifer W. Davis, Amy Winham Sindaco, Sydney E. Robey, Jack T. Robey, Garrett P. Robey, Michael A. Robey, and Brittany E. Robey; 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two siblings, David Peirson and Rachel Von Arb, and one grandson, Gregory H. Smoyer. A private burial will take place in St. David's Episcopal Church Cemetery, Wayne, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Phoenixville Area Senior Center, 153 Church Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
