Mildred Jacob, age 88, of Chester Springs, PA, formerly of New York City, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019 in the Woodbridge Place, Phoenixville. Born on June 27, 1931 in Manhattan, New York, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Regina (Solomon) Jacob. Millie proudly worked into her late 80s. She started her career as one of the first female Jewish telephone operators for Bell Telephone in New York City. She would then go on to work at Midtown Oil, followed by a management position at Bowl and Board in the East Village. Millie is survived by one nephew Marc Kavin, and one niece Susan Kavin. She is also survived by her great-nieces and nephews, Michelle Kavin, Kim Kavin, and Ricky Kavin. She was preceded in death by one nephew, Eric Kavin. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her entombment at the Beth Israel Cemetery, 1098 Woodbridge Center, Woodbridge, NJ 07095 on Monday, November 11, 2019 at 12:30 PM.
