Nicholas Gabriel Wagner, age 34, husband of Eva (Papp) Wagner, of Spring City, PA, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022. Born on February 26, 1988 in Tirgu Neamt, Romania, he was the son of Robert and Jennifer (Campbell) Wagner of Phoenixville, PA. Nick was a 2006 graduate of Phoenixville Area High School, and attended Montgomery County Community College. Nick loved baseball. In 1999 he was a member of the KYAL state championship team that finished 2nd in Regionals later that season. During his sophomore year of high school in 2004, he was a pitcher for the Phoenixville Phantoms that won the District I Championship and went on to States. Along with baseball Nick enjoyed playing many sports including soccer, basketball, and hockey. Whenever Nick had a chance to compete, he did so with passion. Nick worked for the Phoenixville Public Works Department, as well as Patterson Masonry in Phoenixville. Community volunteerism was a major part of his life, and he dedicated many hours as an umpire at KYAL in Kimberton. Nick loved children and animals, was an avid fisherman, took every chance he could to be outdoors, enjoyed his cars, riding dirt bikes and his motorcycle. Family was very important in Nick's life. His rock, his love, his soulmate was Eva, whom Nick said was the best thing that ever happened to him, and that he enjoyed every day of their 4 1/2 years together. In addition to his wife and parents, Nick is survived by three step-children, Christian Pollick, Nathaniel Pollick, and Evangelina Plumley; four siblings, Michael M., husband of Jennifer Wagner (Evans) of West Chester, PA, Carol E. Wagner, John R. Wagner and Emily M. Wagner, all of Phoenixville, PA; one niece and two nephews, Mikayla, Dominic, and Gianni Wagner; paternal grandparents, Robert and Helen Wagner of Mountville, PA; maternal grandparents, Rosemary Campbell, wife of the late Harry Campbell of Cape Coral, FL; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Relatives and friends will be received at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., 610 South Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 5:00 pm - 7:15 pm. A memorial service will follow at 7:30 pm at the funeral home. Officiating will be retired Pastor Jack Mason from Grace Assembly of God. Burial will be held privately.
