Raul Rodriguez, Jr., age 67, husband of the late Rosa E. (Rivera) Rodriguez, of Bronx, New York, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 in Pottstown Hospital, Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Born on October 3, 1954 in Ancon, Canal Zone, Panama, he was the son of the late Gregoria (Vazquez) and Raul Rodriguez, Sr. Raul had been employed as a motorman/train operator, running a subway car for the New York Transit Authority for many years until his retirement. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Yankees, Jets and NY Rangers and was a big-time movie buff, owning a large collection of films. Raul was the life of the party. He would enjoy listening to music, drinking rum, and being that funny guy ready with a witty joke or reminiscing about some old or funny story, always making people smile. Raul is survived by his children: Roy D., husband of Heather Monroy, of Newport Beach, CA; Leslie A. Monroy, of Brooklyn, NY, JoAnne Rodriguez, of Bronx, NY and Jennifer A., wife of Michael Dushane, of Royersford, PA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at 2:00 pm, at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA. Friends will be received from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at 11:00 am, in the Kensico Cemetery, 273 Lakeview Avenue, Valhalla, NY.
