Mr. Robert J. Rambo

November 30, 1946 - April 4, 2022

Robert J. Rambo, 75, of Spring City, passed away peacefully at Phoenixville Hospital on Monday, April 4, 2022. Born on November 30, 1946, in Phoenixville, he was the son of the late Harold Elmer Rambo and Amy (Weidner) Rambo. He was the loving husband of Barbara (Manney) with whom he shared 36 years of marriage. He was a faithful member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. Robert was a veteran and honorably served his country in the United States Navy from 1966 to 1970. He went on to work as a field supervisor for Pennsylvania-American Water Company until his retirement. In his free time Robert enjoyed staying active, he played softball, golfed in a league, and was a member of Pottstown Quoit Club. He loved spending time with friends at the German Club, The American Legion, and the VFW. Robert and his family enjoyed traveling the United States and would take trips to Florida for MLB Spring Training. In addition to his wife, Barbara, Robert is survived by his children; Dana Raams, wife of Pieter, and Kevin Rambo, husband of Samantha, his brother; Thomas W. Rambo, and grandchildren; Levi, Adelaide, Maddox, and Felix. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday April 19, 2022 from 9am-11am at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Phoenixville. A memorial service will begin at 11am, burial will follow in East Vincent United Church of Christ Cemetery.
