Stephen J. Mihalcik, age 56, husband of Rebecca Hall Evans, of Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2020.

A graduate of the Northern Chester County Technical School, in Phoenixville, Stephen owned SJM Landscaping. He was the hardest working man, routinely working seven days a week, often times until dark. At one point, he had lights installed on the mowers so he could squeeze in that last lawn or two.

Stephen loved to hunt whitetail deer and be outside spending time with his family, which was easily his favorite thing to do. As much as he was devoted to his work and hunting, he was even more devoted to his family. He would do anything for his kids and wife, never expecting anything in return. Words can't describe how much he, and his wife Becky, will be missed.

Stephen is survived by his two sons: Matthew S. Mihalcik, of Royersford and Kevin M., husband of Gretchen Mihalcik, of Birdsboro; granddaughter: Lucy Mihalcik; and step-children: Aidan Evans, Jordan Evans and Declan Evans. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary-Jane Smith.
