Obituary

Adelheid S. Cressman, age 77, wife of George C. Cressman, of Jackson, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 in the Monmouth Medical Center - Southern Campus. Born on June 26, 1943 in Heilbronn, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Frieda (Lilly) Kächele.

Following her high school graduation, Mrs. Cressman worked as a Dental Hygienist in Germany until she met her husband. They married on April 26, 1966, and shortly thereafter she immigrated to the United States, becoming a naturalized citizen in 1971. Very family oriented, and a loving military wife, she always took care of everybody else. She loved polka music and dancing, all animals but especially dogs, and enjoyed to crochet.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Cressman is survived by two children, Anita B., wife of Michael Grecksch of Jackson, NJ, George C. Jr., husband of Terri Cressman of North Wales, PA; seven grandchildren, Melissa Grecksch, Stephanie, wife of Josh Fischer, Michael Grecksch, Brian Grecksch, Katelyn Cressman, Matthew Cressman, and Matt Cressman. Mrs. Cressman was preceded in death by one son, Alexander E. Cressman, and one brother, Dieter Kächele.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral ceremony at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., 610 South Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Gerald L. Tancredi. Burial will be held in the St. Ann Cemetery. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Saturday at the funeral home. Masks will be required to enter the building, and social distancing guidelines will be followed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Montgomery County SPCA, 19 E. Ridge Pike, P.O. Box 222, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
