Aida E. Bercek, age 75, wife of David E. Bercek, of 80 S. Reed Road, Royersford, PA, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, January 24, 2019. Born on May 18, 1943 in Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Felix and Juana (Ramos) Perez.

A graduate of Phoenixville High School, Aida had been employed as a seamstress at the former Spring City Knitting Mill for many years. She had also worked at AMP and ISS at the Limerick Generating Station. Mrs. Bercek retired from the John Middleton Co., where she had worked in the cafeteria. Following retirement, Aida last worked for Custer's Bus Co. as an aide until 2013. She enjoyed working out, exercising and aerobics. She also enjoyed shopping, and was known to her family as a professional shopper, who had a "black belt" in shopping. She loved times spent with her friends and family, but especially loved dearly her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband of almost 49 years, Mrs. Bercek is survived by three sons, Richard Bercek of Exeter, Michael, husband of Laura Bercek of Reading, and Davad, husband of Lori Bercek of Exeter; two sisters, Maria, wife of Robert Kehler of Sanatoga and Carmen, wife of the late Noel Fegley of Hereford; seven grandchildren: Nicholas, Eric, Caitlin, Cole, Colin, Matthew and Carli; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bercek was preceded in death by one brother, Martin Perez.

The family would like to thank Christy Washington of Aspire Health, along with the entire hospice team of nurses, counselors, social workers, and clergy from Vitas Healthcare, with a special thanks to Shontelle Yancey.
