Alan L. Fuhrman, age 77, husband of Miriam E. (Keim) Fuhrman, of Royersford, PA died suddenly of natural causes at home on Wednesday morning, June 9, 2010. Born in Collegeville, PA, he was a son of the late J. Leroy and Mary S. (Landis) Fuhrman. He attended school in Collegeville. Mr. Fuhrman worked for over 30 years at the B. F. Goodrich company in Oaks. He then worked for the Johnson Matthey company in Valley Forge until his retirement in the mid 1990's. He was a member of the Royersford Church of the Nazarene.

In addition to his wife of 57 years, Mr. Fuhrman is survived by four children; Linda S., wife of Charles Tucker, of Royersford, Connie L., wife of Robert Chew of Royersford, Randy A., husband of Jennifer (Annaruma) Fuhrman, of Florida, Dean A., husband of Lynn (Faraglia) Fuhrman, of Florida, two brothers; Russell Fuhrman, Vernon (Lois) Fuhrman, twelve grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Fuhrman is pre-deceased by one sister; Esther Knerr and one brother; Leroy Fuhrman.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Monday, June 14, 2010 at 10:30AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Larry D. Powell. Burial will be in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends will be received from 7:00-8:30PM Sunday evening or from 9:30-10:30AM Monday morning at the funeral home.
