Alberta T. (DiGuiseppe) Hozyash, age 83, wife of Joseph Hozyash, of Royersford, died Wednesday evening, August 13th, 2008 in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, Pottstown, PA.? Born in Royersford, she was a daughter of the late Liberatore and Maria (DeLeonardo) DiGuiseppe.? She was a graduate of the former Royersford High School.? Mrs. Hozyash worked for over 15 years at the Montgomery County Geriatric and Rehabilitation Center, before retiring in the mid 1980's.? Mrs. Hozyash was a life long member of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Royersford.? She was also a member of the Royersford Women's Club.?
In addition to her husband of 61 years, Mrs. Hozyash is survived by two daughters; Marilyn A., wife of Richard H. Gentzler, of TN, Maria C., wife of Donald J. Yanusko, of Pottstown, two sons; Robert J., husband of Diane (Quigley) Hozyash, of Boyertown, Joseph G. Hozyash, of North Carolina, one sister; Gloria McGuigan, of Royersford, one brother; Mario, husband of Ann Marie DiGuiseppe, of Royersford, five grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.? Mrs. Hozyash was pre-deceased by two sisters; Anne DePaoli, and Lucy DePietropaolo, two brothers; Pasquale and Albert DiGuiseppe.?
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Lewis Road at Walnut Street, (P.O. Box 64) Royersford, PA 19468 on Saturday morning, August 16th, 2008 at 10AM.? Officiating will be the Rev. Timothy M. Judge.? Burial will be in the Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA.? Friends will be received from 8:30 - 9:45 AM, Saturday morning at the Church.?
