Alecia A. (Lear) Gratton, age 59, wife of Frank Gratton, of Phoenixville, PA, formerly of Lancaster, PA, died suddenly in the Phoenixville Hospital on Monday morning, March 10, 2014. Born in Phoenixville, she was a daughter of the late Ellsworth and Elizabeth (Johnson) Lear. She was a graduate of the Phoenixville High School and the New England Deaconess School of Nursing in Boston, MA.

In addition to her husband of 30 years, Mrs. Gratton is survived by one son: Michael J.D. Lear, husband of Kerri (Reyelt) Lear, of Maplewood, NJ; her grandsons, Kameron and Wesley, of Maplewood, NJ; her siblings Ellsworth Lear (of San Leandro, CA), Thomas Lear and wife Thelma Lear (of Douglasville, PA), William H. Lear (of Tucson, AZ), Diane (Lear) Brown, wife of Alfred Brown and Nancy Lear (both of Phoenixville, PA) She was preceded in death by her brothers, Nathaniel Lear, Edward Lear, Joseph Lear, Lawrence Lear, Jeffrey D. Lear, her sisters, Florence (Lear) Boston, Eleanor (Lear) Smith, Judith A. (Lear) Harris-Bailey and Grace Lear.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at the Campbell–Ennis–Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 11am. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received from 10-11am Thursday morning at the funeral home.
