Alexander "Lex" Lucas, age 52, beloved husband of Victoria N. (Norcini) Lucas, of Phoenixville, PA, died suddenly January 22, 2008.?Born in Phoenixville, he was the son of Mary T. (Tarchanik) Lucas, of Phoenixville, and the late Alexander Lucas.? Mr. Lucas was a graduate of Phoenixville High School.? He also graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Physical Education. ??Mr. Lucas taught Physical Education and Health at Phoenixville Middle School.? He also coached football and basketball for the school teams and was an avid sports fan. ?In addition to his wife of twenty-three years, Mr. Lucas is survived by sisters-in-law; Deborah Stevens, Joanne DiPietro, three nieces; Caitlin, Ashley, Lucia, two nephews; Michael, who is currently serving in Iraq, and Austin. Lex especially enjoyed time with his family and his wife's cooking.??Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Basil the Great Roman Catholic Church, 2300 Kimberton Rd., Kimberton, PA on Saturday morning, January 26th, 2008 at 11:30AM.?
