Alfred Joseph "Al" DeMola, loving husband of Kathryn (Imhof) DeMola, of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 17, 2020 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania after a long and courageous battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Born on April 26, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York, he was a son of the late Philip and Jennie (Ciccarelli) DeMola.
Al was a graduate of Brooklyn College, and later received his Masters of Business Administration at St. John’s University in New York. He enjoyed serving on the Finance committee at St. Ann’s RC Church and on the feeding team at St. Peter’s when he wasn’t consumed with his very active and adoring girls. His free time before starting a family was spent racing cars, fishing and spending time with his extended family consuming large quantities of delicious Italian food.
In addition to his loving wife Kathryn, Mr. DeMola is survived by his three loving daughters, Christina DeMola, Kayla DeMola, and Nicole DeMola; He is also survived by one niece, Lisa Rosado and her children Matthew, Michael and Alyssa.
In addition to his parents, Mr. DeMola was preceded in death by his two siblings, Vita (Rita) Venezia, and Vito William (Willy) DeMola.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing for Mr. DeMola on Friday evening February 21, 2020 from 6:00PM8:00PM at the CampbellEnnisKlotzbach Funeral Home, 610 S. Main St. Phoenixville PA 19460. A viewing will also be held on Saturday morning February 22, 2020 from 9:30AM10:30AM at the St. Ann R.C. Church, Main Street at Third Avenue, Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. A funeral mass will follow the calling time at 10:30AM. Officiating will be Rev. John J. Newns. Burial will be held in the St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville PA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 555 E North Ln.
