Alfred F. Musumeci, Sr, husband of Adelina M. (Romanelli) Musumeci, of Charlestown Township, PA, formerly of Philadelphia, died Thursday afternoon, August 12, 2010 in the Paoli Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Joseph and Maria Musumeci. He attended school in South Philadelphia. A veteran, he served for the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Musumeci worked as a credit manager for over 25 years at the Nardello Fuels, Inc in Philadelphia. He was a member of the St. Basil the Great Roman Catholic Church in Kimberton, PA. He was a member of the Coventry Lions Club, the Mid-Atlantic Blind Golfers Association, The Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Blind Veterans Association.

In addition to his wife of 59 years, Mr. Musumeci is survived by one daughter: Dr. Maria M. Schwab, wife of Paul T. Schwab, of Charlestown Township, one sister: Mary Zinni, of Philadelphia, one brother: Joseph Musumeci, of Philadelphia, three grandchildren: Michael, Timothy, Alyson, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Musumeci was pre-deceased by one son: Alfred J. Musumeci, Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at the St. Basil the Great R.C. Church, 2300 Kimberton Road, Kimberton, PA 19442 on Tuesday morning, August 17, 2010 at 10:00AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Gary T. Pacitti. Burial will be in the St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA. Friends will be received from 6:30-8:30PM Monday evening or from 8:30-9:30AM Tuesday morning at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in his name to the "Overbrook School for the Blind", attention Department of Development, 6333 Malvern Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19151.
