Shutes, of Norristown, formerly of Royersford, ?died Thursday evening, January 31, 2008 in the Parkhouse Providence Pointe, Upper Providence Township, PA.? Born in Coal Rain, PA, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Alfreda (Harris) Schalles.? Mrs. Shutes was a graduate of the Royersford High School.? Mrs. Shutes enjoyed volunteering her time at the Manatawny Manor Nursing Home in East Coventry.? ??
Mrs. Shutes is survived by two daughters; Karen A., wife of the late Thomas Bowers, of Baltimore, MD, Joann A., wife of David Sheeler, of Royersford, PA, eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.? Mrs. Shutes was pre-deceased by one brother and one sister.? ??Funeral Services and burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.?
