Alice B. Tayvinsky, age 87, Wife of the late Richard Tayvinsky of Palmyra, Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Londonderry Village, Palmyra, PA. Born in Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Monica (Wassell) Barans.

Alice was a graduate of Notre Dame High School for Girls, Chester, PA where she attended to her studies and played the Flute and Piccolo. Alice spent a considerable number of years as a stay-at-home Mom, followed by her working career in the fields of Data Entry and Transcriptionist. Alice enjoyed her puzzles, her M&M's, keeping tabs on her favorite Reality TV shows, window shopping, exercising, cruising for endless hours on her Scooter, and diligently praying her Rosary. Alice treasured visits and spending time with her Grandchildren.

Alice spent the last ten years residing at the Retirement Community of Londonderry Village located in Palmyra, Pa. She spent the better part of those 10 years located in the Independent Living neighborhood of the campus. Alice gained significant notoriety for her bright red scooter with its "Smiley" license plate affixed to the front of the scooter and her bright yellow "Smiley" Flag waving in the air, affixed to the rear. Alice will be missed by all who loved her.

Alice is survived by her children Steven R. husband of Marilyn Tayvinsky, Alyssa A. (Trauger), wife of Robert R. Ore, her Grandchildren Justin and Holden Tayvinsky, sons of Jan Tayvinsky, Nathan Trauger, Brandon Trauger, and Nichole Trauger. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Richard Tayvinsky, her parents Alexander and Monica Barans, her siblings Monica J. Scott, Alexander "Sonny"; Barans, Grandson's Aaron and Tyler Trauger.

Services will be held Privately.
