Alice R. (Moyer) Bauer, 93, formerly of Parker Ford, passed away late Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Coventry Manor. She was the wife of the late Samuel L. Bauer.

Mrs. Bauer was born in Pottstown to the late Alvin and Amanda (Reitnauer) Moyer. She graduated from Pottstown High School and held various manufacturing jobs in the area, lastly with Spring City Knitting Mill before retiring. She was a member of Brownback's United Church of Christ and was an avid in her pursuits of reading and sewing.

She is survived by her children: Marsha A. Strickland and husband Morris, of East Coventry and Kenneth Bauer and wife Misun, of Boyertown; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

A private funeral will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions are requested to Coventry Manor Residents Fund, 3031 Chestnut Hill Road, Pottstown, PA 19465.
