Obituary

Alice (Kugler) Yost, age 89, loving wife of 65 years to Herbert N. Yost, of Parker Ford, Pennsylvania, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 25, 2020 in the Manatawny Manor surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 15, 1930 in Parker Ford, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late H.Franklin & Violet M. (Malenke) Kugler.

Mrs. Yost was a graduate of Spring City High School and would later go on to attend the McCann School Of Business in Pottstown. She would later acquire jobs working as Bookkeeper/Office Manger for Sircom Knitting Mills, American Machine & Tool Company, and the Owen J. Roberts School District in the Administration Department. In her spare time she loved to play the piano, write in her journal, work in her garden, crocheting comforters, and being a Jeopardy Aficionado, but most of all she cherished spending time with her loving husband traveling the country and to their cabin in the Pocono's. Alice was very active in the Parker Ford Church of the Brethren and dedicated her time by teaching Sunday School, Bible School, singing in the Church Choir for over 40 years and being a Deacon. Alice was a loving wife, mother, sister, and dear friend to all and she will be missed by many.

In addition to her loving husband, Mrs. Yost is survived by her son, Herbert B. Yost, of King Of Prussia; And Sister, Rose Ella (the late Robert) Latshaw, of Wisconsin. Also, many loving Nieces & Nephews.

Mrs. Yost was preceded in death by her two sisters, Gladys (Raymond) Willauer of Parker Ford, and Frances (Ralph) Leach of West Chester.

Friends and relatives will be received from 10:00 am ‑ 11:00 am on Saturday February 8, 2020, at the Parker Ford Church, 20 Rinehart Road, Pottstown, Pennsylvania. A memorial service will follow the calling time at 11:00AM at the church. Officiating will be Rev. D.J Martin, and the Rev. David R. Willauer. Burial will be held in the Oak Grove Cemetery privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Alice’s name to the Parker Ford Church Building Fund.
