Allan James Anderson, age 75, husband of Carolann M. (Glasgow) Anderson, of Eagleville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020 in his residence. Born on August 26, 1944 in Iron Mountain, Michigan, he was a son of the late Eunice E. (Hammill) and Carl J. Anderson.

Allan served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War as a nuclear missile specialist within the U.S. Army Air Defense Artillery. He worked incredibly hard and was highly skilled at various trades, including auto mechanics and restoration. He was employed at ITE until he started his own Home Improvement business in 1981. A man of deep faith, Allan was a devoted member of St. Teresa of Avila Church.

Allan was a compassionate soul who loved people and made friends everywhere he went. He loved to interact with people from all walks of life and possessed a gift for making them feel as if they were the most important person in the world. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. Always a kid at heart, he never wanted to grow up. Allan was a classic car enthusiast, but most importantly, he was truly a devoted husband, father and grandfather. His family meant everything to him.

In addition to his loving wife of 55 years, Allan is survived by his children: Allan L., husband of Lori Anderson, of Phoenixville, Sandra L., wife of Gregory Artman, of Audubon and Keith G., husband of Lori Anderson, of King of Prussia; grandchildren: Tyler, Nicholas, Stephen, Luke, Christopher, Megan and Tommy; and siblings: Beulah DuCharme, of Iron Mountain, MI and David Anderson, of Iron Mountain, MI. In addition to his parents, Allan was preceded in death by siblings: Loren, Winnie, Muriel, Clarence, Howard and Sharon.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass at St. Teresa of Avila, 1260 South Trooper Road, Audubon on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 10:00 am. Officiating will be the Rev. J. Jerome Wild and the Rev. Hugh J. Dougherty. Interment will be follow in the Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King Of Prussia. Friends will be received from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm, Tuesday evening at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville. Due to current regulations, CDC guidelines, social distancing and capacity limitation will be followed. Please be considerate of others and a mask is required for entry into the Church and funeral home.
