Alton E. Renninger, age 86, husband of the late Bertha (Shellenberger) Renninger and
Ann L. (O'Keefe) Renninger died on Saturday November 14, 2009 at the Phoenixville Hospital.

Mr. Renninger a son of the late Soloman E. and Estella V. (Erb) Renninger was born in Limerick, PA. He was a 1940 graduate of Pottstown High School. He was a Sales Manager for the former Robinson Clay Co. A Veteran, Mr. Renninger served in the First Air Division of the 8th Air Force in Brampten Park England.

Mr. Renninger was a member of Pikeville Sportsmans Club since 1945. He had a great love of the Opera, he was a avid listener and donor of the Metropolitan Opera in New York.

Mr. Renninger is survived by a son S. Jeffrey ``Boz'' Renninger of Pottstown. A step-daughter Cathy Calhoun of Spring City, and several nieces and nephews. Alton was predeceased by his siblings Stella, Mabel, Kathryn, Almeda, Anna, Emma, Alvin , Linwood, John, Clarence, Howard, Dewey and Harry.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at 11:00 A.M. at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington St. Royersford, PA. There will be a viewing on Wednesday morning from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park Mausoleum, Pottstown.
