Dr. Ana Marie (Arcenas) Sanchez, 74, of Carneys Point, NJ, passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021 at Einstein Medical Center. Born in Manila, Philippines she was the daughter of the late Cesar and Clarita (Limson) Arcenas. She was the loving wife of the late Jaime Sanchez, Jr., who passed away in 2008 after 29 years of marriage.
Ana Marie was a devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Gabriel the Archangel in Penns Grove, Carneys Point, NJ. She was a member of the Handmaids of the Lord, a ministry of the Couples for Christ Community. She was also an accomplished graduate earning her Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Ana Marie belonged to the Alumni Associations of St. Theresa's College, Quezon City, College of the Holy Spirit, Manila, Medical College of Georgia, and Oklahoma State University. She was a dedicated employee of Temple University where she worked for 23 years as Licensing Manager of the Environmental Health and Radiation Safety Department.
Ana had a passion for music. In her free time, Ana loved to play piano and guitar. She had recently taken ukulele and keyboard lessons. When she was not playing an instrument, she could be found singing or dancing.
She is survived by her son - Raymond Vincent A. Sanchez, and her sisters - Lilia A. Balinghasay, Teresa A. Reyes, and Marisa A. Nuguid. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband Jaime Sanchez, Jr., she is preceded in death by a sister - Lourdes Arcenas.
A Visitation will be held on Friday May 28, 2021 from 6-8pm at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 610 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30am on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at St. Eleanor Church, 647 Locust St, Collegeville, PA 19426. Committal at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA 19460 will immediately follow Mass. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Raymond Sanchez via:
