Andrew J. Cushman Sr., 63, of Linfield, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2011, in the Montgomery Hospital. Born in Swedesburg, he was a son of the late Theresa (Cushman) and Walter Cushman Sr.

Mr. Cushman was a 1967 graduate of Spring-Ford High School and then served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed as warehouse foreman for Morgan Moving & Storage Ltd., agent for North American Van Lines, Pottstown, where he was dedicated to his work.

He enjoyed collecting coins, stamps, military memorabilia and eagles. He was a member of the Spring City American Legion, and loved working with his hands, building and remodeling. He enjoyed traveling, riding his Harley, and was a pool shark, but most importantly he was a loving father and grandfather.

Andrew is survived by three daughters: Jennifer, Jessie, and Mindy Cushman, all of Pottstown; two sons: Andrew Cushman Jr. of Birdsboro and Michael Cushman of West Palm Beach, FL; three sisters: Dawn Faust of Gillett, PA, Dianne Cushman of Barto, and Lynn Veasey of Mantua, NJ; two brothers: Clement Cushman of Hughesville, PA and Walter Cushman Jr. of Spring City; and seven grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, on Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Paul C. Brandt. Interment will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends will be received from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Tuesday evening and from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
