Angela Capetola, age 93, wife of the late Ernesto Capetola, of Wayne, PA, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020 in the Bryn Mawr Hospital. Born on October 24, 1926 in Chieti, Abruzzi, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Sabatino and Anna (Ricci) Firmani.

Mrs. Capetola immigrated from Italy to the United States in 1966 with her husband Ernesto and her three daughters. She resided most of her life in the Main Line area, and was a faithful member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish in Wayne. Mrs. Capetola was a loving and hospitable woman, who cared for others and always carried a smile on her face. She had a real green thumb, enjoying gardening, cooking, and crocheting. Most important to her was her family, and she loved spending time with them.

Mrs. Capetola is survived by three daughters, Anna, wife of Matt Pressler of Newtown Square, PA, Dora of Phoenixville, PA, and Mirella of Downingtown, PA; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one sister, Ornella DiLuca of Chieti, Italy; and several in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

A private graveside service will take place in the Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Bryn Mawr Hospital Foundation, 240 North Radnor Chester Road, Radnor, PA 19087.
