Anita L. Guffey, age 80, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 9, 2025. She was the devoted wife of Ronnie G. Guffey, with whom she shared 57 wonderful years of marriage.
Born on September 20, 1945, in Phoenixville, Anita was the daughter of the late Frederick and Alice (Faddis) Denfeld.
A 1963 graduate of Phoenixville High School, she began her career at the Valley Forge Army Hospital, where she worked until its closure in 1974. Anita then dedicated herself wholeheartedly to raising her family, finding joy in the everyday moments of motherhood. In the mid-1990s, she returned to the workforce as a pharmacy technician at Walmart, where she worked until her retirement.
Anita had a joyful and caring spirit. She loved dancing, bowling, spending time with her family, visiting the horses at Ryerss Farm, doting on her dogs, and taking the occasional shopping trip-especially to BB's Grocery Outlet in Morgantown.
In addition to her husband, Anita is survived by her son, Brandon Guffey, fiancé of Jillian Leftwich; two grandsons, Hudson and Jackson Guffey; and her beloved pup, Chloe, who was always by her side.
Anita's kindness, laughter, and loving spirit touched everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, 610 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Morris Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM at the funeral home on Friday morning.
