Ann E. (Kelleher) Lynch, 81, wife of the late Frederick F. Lynch, departed this life on July 1, 2010, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Vandling, PA, Ann was the daughter of the late Frank and Kathryn (Kelly) Kelleher. She was a graduate of Vandling High School. Ann was employed by J C Penney Company in Carbondale PA where she met Fred Lynch. They married in 1951.
Ann is survived by three Daughters Kathryn (Phoenixville), Margaret, wife of John Shields (Slidell, LA), Mary, wife of Todd McGown (Phoenixville), Grandsons Michael Layne, partner of Maria Kratz (Phoenixville), Jason McGown, partner of Heather Sim, Granddaughter Michelle Layne, partner of Jeff Salamone (Plymouth Meeting), Great-Granddaughters Adriana Salamone, Natalie McGown and Gianna Salamone, Sisters Mary O'Neill (Pleasant Mount, PA) and Kitty, wife of David Dippel (New York City, NY) and Sister-in-Law Marie Kelleher, (Astoria, NY). Ann was pre-deceased by one Daughter, Ann M., two Brothers, Francis Kelleher and Martin Kelleher, and a Grandson Jeffrey McGown.
Ann was a member of St. Basil the Great Church, Kimberton. She enjoyed her family, train trips to Louisiana, and trips to the casinos.
There will be a private family viewing and funeral with final interment at St. Ann's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Phoenixville Area Community Services, 257 Church St, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
