Obituary

Anne L. (Ross) Pugliese, age 60, of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2020 in Meadowview Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Whitemarsh, Montgomery County. Born on September 1, 1959 in Norristown, she was a daughter of the late Sarah S. (McCormack) and Lemuel A. Ross.

Anne grew up in King of Prussia, PA and graduated from Upper Merion High School. Anne worked many years as a cashier/part time bookkeeper at AandP/SuperFresh. She enjoyed playing Solitaire, Bingo and an occasional trip to the Casino. She was a good cook and made the best tasting Apple Cake in her family. Anne enjoyed being outdoors and going for walks. She enjoyed listening to music and watching movies. Her favorite flower was Sunflowers. She was devoted to her daughters and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Friends remember Anne as a giving person. She did whatever she could to help a friend in need.

Life threw Anne a curve with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's. The last four years of her life were difficult as her health was failing. The hardest part was realizing she was slowing forgetting her family and friends. Those close to Anne believe that even though she has passed, her memory will always be in their heart and they will forever remember her smiling face.

Anne is survived by her daughter: Nicole, wife of Jesse Tudor, of Royersford and Theresa Tammaro, of Collegeville; grandchildren: Cloe, Jesse, Kaley, Kacey, Peyton, Aurianna, Darien and Rhys; siblings: Lemuel A. "Jack" Ross, of Drexel Hill, PA, Sarah E. Ross of, Lewes, DE, Michael L. Ross, of Phoenixville and Jeremiah D. Ross, of Uncasville, CT. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings: Maureen Ross and Paul J. Ross.
