Anne Marie Wysowski, age 66, of Royersford, PA, passed away in the arms of her children and husband on Friday, June 16, 2023 at Phoenixville Hospital. Born May 20, 1957 in Derby, CT, she was the daughter of Patricia (LaTasse) Doherty and the late William Doherty. She was the loving wife of Steven J. Wysowski, with whom she would have shared 40 years of marriage this year. She is also survived by her two children, Amy B. Wysowski and Brian S., husband to Meredith; her two granddaughters, Jordan and Stella; two siblings, Maureen, wife of Will Foster, and Kevin Doherty; her sister-in-law Mary Ann Sahms and husband Craig; her aunts, an uncle, nieces, many cousins, and friends.

Anne was a graduate of Shelton High School in Shelton, CT. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of New Haven, and obtained her Masters degree in English from Trinity College in Hartford, CT. Anne most recently taught at the St. Bridget School in Cheshire, CT. She previously taught at Pope John Paul II School in New Britain, CT and at Teikyo Post University in Waterbury, CT. She was an English teacher with a quiet demeanor but was always able to earn the respect of her students through her passion for teaching and the message of kindness that permeated every class she taught.

Anne was an avid reader who also enjoyed gardening and baking. Most importantly, she was a proud and loving grandmother, and cherished the time she spent with her family more than anything. While her disease ravaged her ability to move and speak, she found that the best medicine was time spent with family, especially her granddaughters, whom she absolutely adored. She was a remarkable partner whose love and patience was felt daily by her husband. She was the driver of that wonderful team. She will be remembered for her kindness, selflessness, intelligence, and the enormous strength she exhibited while battling her disease. She made an impact on all who knew her and will be deeply missed.

A celebration of Anne's life will take place on Thursday, June 29, 2023 beginning at 1:00 pm at the Duck Inn Taproom, 532 Gravel Pike, Collegeville, PA 19426.
