Anthony Govea, age 23, of Norristown, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Born on December 2, 2002, in Paoli, he was the son of Josefina Govea Gonzalez.

An avid car enthusiast, Anthony lived life in the fast lane. He loved fast cars, street racing, and had a true enthusiasm for the loudest engines possible-to Anthony, the more sound a car made, the better. He looked toward the future with big dreams, always hoping to one day own a Lamborghini.

Anthony's vibrant spirit was also expressed through his deep interest in art, a creative eye that was visible in all of his tattoo artwork. Known for sharp style and sharp wit, he was oftentimes seen wearing black, always joking that he needed to maintain his nice features for the ladies. He possessed a quick, impulsive personality and could be overreactive at times; he might get angry or be hard to calm down, but he always tried his best to remain happy. He had a natural gift for lightening the mood, constantly using his humor or a quick joke to bring a smile to those around him.

Above all else, family was everything to Anthony. He loved hanging out with his friends and was incredibly close to his cousins. He would do absolutely anything for his sisters and his mother. He shared a special bond with his mom, and though he loved tortas and tamales, absolutely nothing could compare to his mother's cooking.

In addition to his loving mother, Anthony is survived by his sisters: Jessenia, Jackie, and Maiya; nephew: Mathias; maternal grandfather: Librado Govea; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and their families. He was preceded in death by maternal grandmother: Josefina Gonzalez; little cousin who he considered his little brother: Alexis; and nephew: Ruben.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 11:00 am, at St. Ann's Chapel, 604 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA. Officiating will be Rev. Daniel Arechabala. Interment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery. Friends will be received from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM Friday evening, September 18, at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville and from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM, Saturday morning at the Chapel.
