Anthony "Tony" Paul Paladino III, age 77, Husband of Bonnie (Brubaker) Paladino of Royersford, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026 in the St. Luke's Grandview Hospital, Sellersville, PA. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Wanda and Anthony Paladino Jr.
Tony was a graduate of Wissahickon High School in Ambler, PA where he met and fell in love with his future wife of 56 years, Bonnie. He proceeded on to Temple University where he graduated with both bachelors and masters degrees in education. Tony had a long career as an educator, first as a teacher, then soon after as an elementary school principal in both Methacton and Tredyffrin-Easttown School Districts. Having served in the Army Reserves, Tony was a longtime member of the American Legion. He treasured raising his children in Royersford and involving himself in community activities. He volunteered on the Zoning Committee and is credited with starting the Royersford Christmas Lights Contest which still exists today.
Tony enjoyed traveling the world with Bonnie, especially their 1991 trip to Russia and numerous visits to Switzerland. He also enjoyed the peacefulness of fishing (peaceful for him since the fish rarely bit!), and was an avid collector of watches, fountain pens, and hats. Tony loved spending time with his friends, especially the Monday Night Football Guys and Breakfast Crew. He’ll be remembered for his wit, an honor that was bestowed on him in his senior year yearbook.
Most of all, Tony was a proud father and grandfather. He loved hearing about his kids’ and grandkids’ activities and accomplishments. He was involved in all their lives. Whether coaching little league baseball, planning one of many family vacations, or attending sporting events, musical performances, and graduations too numerous to count, he loved every minute of it and was always there with a smile and a hug.
Tony is survived by his wife, Bonnie Paladino, his children, Andrew (Keri) Paladino, Lyndi (Bobby McManus) Paladino, Matty Paladino, his grandchildren, Christopher, Connor, Gabriel, Anna, Sophia, his siblings, Richard Sekula, Ed Sekula, Francine Molinelli, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Anthony Paladino Jr. and Wanda (Blasiak).
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Friends will be received from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home. Luncheon to follow. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the ASPCA.
