Arlene J. Himes, 84, wife of the late Harold B. "Bub" Himes, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 in Atria at Woodbridge Assisted Living Center.

Born on March 21, 1931 in Phoenixville, PA, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (Tinney) Jeffers. She was a graduate of Phoenixville High School and worked as a secretary for Phoenixville Hospital for seventeen years before retiring in 1998.

Mrs. Himes was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Phoenixville, PA.

She is survived by: daughter, Gail, wife of John Doebling of Phoenixville, PA; son, Brian, husband of Melissa Himes of Poland, OH; grandchildren: Cheryl Speaker and Todd Doebling; great-grandchildren: Tyler Speaker and Abigail Speaker; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Himes was also pre-deceased by sisters: Jean Detwiler and Doris Devonshire, and brothers: John T. "Jack" Jeffers, and H. Paul Jeffers.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 355 St. John's Circle, Phoenixville, PA on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Cynthia L. Krommes. Burial will be held in the Morris Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Tuesday.
