Barbara Ann (Adam) Hammerle, age 74, wife of J. Vitus Hammerle, of Royersford, PA passed away Tuesday morning, December 16th, 2014 in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, Pottstown, PA. Born in Norristown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Joseph N. and Frances C. (Cain) Adam. She was a 1957 graduate of the Allentown Central Catholic High School. Mrs. Hammerle worked for many years for the Spring-Ford School District. She began in the cafeteria and retired as a teachers aid in 2002. Mrs. Hammerle worked the voting polls at Brooke Elementary in Royersford. She volunteered at Parkhouse Nursing Home in Upper Providence. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and a dear friend to all she met.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Hammerle is survived by three children: Lori A., wife of Bill Thomas, of East Greenville; Vitus J. Hammerle, of Royersford; Michael R., husband of Dawn M. (Emery) Hammerle, of Phoenixville, PA; three grandchildren: Emma, Nathan, and Corey Hammerle.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Mass at the Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, 256 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA on Saturday morning, December 20, 2014 at 11AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Paul C. Brandt. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Pennsburg, PA. Friends will be received from 9:15 - 10:15 Saturday morning at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA. Flowers will be accepted.
