Barbara A. (Phillips) Gibat, age 50, of Royersford, PA died suddenly on Thursday morning, April 11th, 2013. Born in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the Mariann (Forest) Phillips, and the late William B. Phillips, Jr. She was a graduate of the Upper Moreland High School and Montgomery County Community College. Mrs. Gibat was a nurse for many years. She worked at the Ambler Rest Center and the Dresher Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center nursing homes, but was known most for her shining personality and contagious smiles. She attended the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Royersford, PA.

Mrs. Gibat is survived by three daughters: Kristina L. Gibat, of Spring City, PA; Alexandra "Allie" Gibat, of Schwenksville, PA; Brianna S. Johnson, of Royersford, PA; one son: Tyler Mitchell, of Maryland; one brother: William B. Phillips, III, of Royersford; two grandchildren: Kevanna M. Gibat and Jayden K. Acampora.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA 19468 on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 7pm. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family in the St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA. Friends will be received from 5:45 to 6:45 Wednesday at the funeral home.
