Obituary

Barbara J. (Wall) Wynne, age 76, wife of John H. Wynne Jr., of South Coventry, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023, in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born on February 19, 1947, in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of Lillian B. (McKee) Wall and the late William G. Wall Jr.

Barbara loved caring for others and especially working with children. She was a first-grade teacher at The Episcopal Academy where she would later meet her husband, John.

After leaving Episcopal, Barbara used her brilliant eye for design in her employment at the former Main Line Flowers, where she enjoyed making flower bouquets, creating designs for the Philadelphia Flower Show, and building window displays for several shops in the Narberth and Ardmore area.

Barbara was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother but above all, was her love for Jesus. She was a member of the Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, where she sang in both the adult and junior choirs. Because of her love for children, she volunteered in the Leverington Presbyterian Church's nursery and helped with their children's programs. Barbara was kind, loving and loved sharing her faith.

In addition to her husband John and mother Lillian, Barbara is survived by her daughters: Christine H., wife of Barry Hallman, of Phoenixville, PA and Meredith A., wife of Andrew Wilson, of Griffin, GA, grandchildren: Chandler, Caroline, Luke, Logan, Dylan, and Lilly Kate; and sister: Sharon Wall.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Friday, June 2, 2023, at 11:00 am, at the Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, 625 Montgomery Avenue, Bryn Mawr. Officiating will be the Rev. Brian K. Ballard. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM at the Church.

Memorial contributions may be made in Barbara's name to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28201, www.BillyGraham.org/donate.
