Barbara Lorraine Kalinowski, formerly of Syracuse, NY, passed away August 2, 2017, at Parkhouse Nursing Home. Mrs. Kalinowski was born November 16, 1927 in Monterey, CA.

She attended San Diego High School, and performed many interesting jobs, including plane-spotter and riveter in an aircraft factory during World War II, and retired as an electronics assembler at General Electric in the 1980's.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, drawing, singing and being with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by sisters Geri Marsella of Liverpool, NY, and Ruth Choyke of San Diego, CA, daughters Sylvia Fava of Fayetteville, NY, Judi Riley of Skippack, PA, Cathy Beatty of Liverpool, NY, and Barbara Lesinski of Limerick, PA, son Michael Kalinowski of Limerick, PA, 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brother Donald Whaley and sister Betty Whaley.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA 19468 on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 10:00 AM.
