Barbara A. Martin, age 82, wife of the late Frederick W. Martin, of Dover, PA, formerly of Pottstown, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017 in Providence Place of Dover Retirement Community, Dover, PA. Born on July 24, 1934 in Narberth, PA, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Ethel (Quigley) Hutton.

Prior to becoming a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, Barbara worked as a hair dresser and at the Quarter Master in Philadelphia. She was renowned for her amazing spaghetti and meatballs!

Mrs. Martin was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church of Pottstown. She was also a member of the Spring-Ford Chapter #518 of the Order of the Eastern Star since 1975.

Mrs. Martin is survived by two children, Deborah A., wife of David Stauffer of Dover, PA and Jeffrey T. Martin of Phoenixville, PA; one brother, Joseph Hutton, Jr. of Abingdon, MD; and three grandchildren – Randi, Kyle and Nate. She was preceded in death by one brother, James A . Hutton, Sr.
