Barbara A. McMenamin, age 77, wife of William J. McMenamin, of Reading, PA, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018 in the Manatawny Manor. Born on November 19, 1940 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late William and Margaret (Field) Crane.

Mrs. McMenamin was a gradute of Dobbins High School in Philadelphia, and most recently worked as a secretary for the DePaul Group in Blue Bell, PA. She went on retreats and volunteered for the Dominican Retreat House. She was a member of the Red Hat Club, and was most known for her generosity, putting others before herself and regularly donating to several charities and organizations. Mrs. Mcmenamin loved spending time with her grandchildren, traveling to the casinos in Atlantic City and the beach and boardwalk in Sea Isle City, NJ. She enjoyed playing bingo, bowling watching the Phillies, taking walks and going camping.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. McMenamin is survived by three children, Donna M. Kafel (David) of Levittown, PA, Patricia A. Maialetti (Brian) of Perkasie, PA, and Andrew C. Mcmenamin (Elizabeth Duffy) of Philadelphia, PA; one brother, William, husband of Joyce Ann Crane of New Jersey; six grandchildren, Melissa, Andrew, Chloe, Mia, Annelise, and Charles; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. McMenamin was pre-deceased by one sister, Margaret Magill.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, Pennsylvania on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 11:00 am. Burial will be held privately in the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Manatawny Manor, 30 Old Schuylkill Road, Pottstown, PA 19465.
